Layman in search of information

Hi to all.
I'm very interested in physics and mathematics, but I have to admit my knowledge is limited in both.
I have a question that's been bothering me, and I seem unable to find any documentation on it... I hope I've come to the right place.

I was wondering if, put very simply, there's any evidence in physics for 'yesterday'.
I assume this question is deceptively simple, and must implicate many things...this is probably why I've had a hard time finding an answer.

I thank anyone who takes the time to read this, and I'd appreciate any help you can offer.
