AQA A-level Physics with Astrophysics Practice Form B

48 questions · one fixed Test B form

England · Year 13 · AQA · 7408 · Astrophysics

120-minute independent practice clock. Save and pause when needed. You may continue after the countdown ends.

Original practice covering mandatory content, practical reasoning and the Astrophysics option. The other four AQA options are outside this batch. The official qualification has three two-hour papers. This independent two-hour form samples those areas with one-point objective scoring and eight ungraded written responses. Written practical reasoning does not certify the separate practical endorsement.

40 objective questions earn one practice point each. 8 written responses are saved for self or teacher review with model responses and instructional rubrics after submission; they are excluded from the automatic score. This is an instructional score, with no official weighting or passing prediction.

Scored practice categories Measurements and errors 4; Particles and radiation 4; Waves 4; Mechanics and materials 4; Electricity 4; Further mechanics and thermal physics 4; Fields 4; Nuclear physics 4; Practical and data analysis 4; Astrophysics 4.

Have scratch paper and a pencil ready. A scientific calculator is available. This practice provides no reference sheet.

This practice provides no official assessment scale score, achievement level, or passing prediction.

You can flag questions, revisit encountered questions, and explicitly pause to stop timing. At 120 minutes you may continue in extra time; your attempt will not submit automatically.

If your connection drops, timing stops within 60 seconds of the last successful connection. Saved answers are restored when you resume. Retakes use the same Test B questions. Pausing across days is a practice convenience.

Answers and explanations appear after you submit. Submitted attempts cannot be changed.
