60-minute independent practice clock. Save and pause when needed. You may continue after the countdown ends.

Three original literary and informational selections with 1500 to 2300 words in total. The official paper lasts 60 minutes and has 50 marks. Selected-response questions adapt skills that may require writing in the official assessment. Six evidence-based written responses remain ungraded.

30 objective questions earn one practice point each. 6 written responses are saved for self or teacher review with model responses and instructional rubrics after submission; they are excluded from the automatic score. This is an instructional score, with no official weighting or passing prediction.

Scored practice categories Vocabulary in context 5; Retrieval 7; Summary 3; Inference 8; Prediction 1; Structure 2; Language 2; Comparison 2.

Read each supplied passage and use its evidence to answer.

This practice provides no official assessment scale score, achievement level, or passing prediction.

You can flag questions, revisit encountered questions, and explicitly pause to stop timing. At 60 minutes you may continue in extra time; your attempt will not submit automatically.

If your connection drops, timing stops within 60 seconds of the last successful connection. Saved answers are restored when you resume. Retakes use the same Test A questions. Pausing across days is a practice convenience.

Answers and explanations appear after you submit. Submitted attempts cannot be changed.
